Ciampino

“Stayed there 1 night while catching an early flight the next morning. Took the metro from Termini station to Campino stop and walked to the hotel. Not too far even with luggage. The staff was friendly, the rooms and bathrooms were clean. They provided a shuttle to the airport. Yes, the runway is just outside your room, but we couldn't hear the planes while asleep.”

“Great budget hotel. We stayed here for 4 nights and used it as a base for seeing Rome. We loved having the pool to relax beside and cool down although being directly beside the airport it can be noisy so bring headphones for music! The hotel is slightly dated but very clean and functional and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was limited but good. Lots of cake for breakfast! We went in and out of town on the train which is cheap and fast and the station is close to the hotel; a ten minute walk. The local area is quiet and residential but we enjoyed eating at the restaurant on the corner. It is a real locals place and the staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious. Recommended hotel for those looking for unfussy, budget friendly base for Rome”
